Who would have ever thought I am a professional forklift driver? As you know, we are relocating our production facility. Trucks had been delivering our equipment all day long.

The crew was gone at lunch when the truck arrived with our new forklift. I was all alone and couldn't resist. I had to jump on and try the forklift out. I was driving circle-eights like a professional. It was fun feeling like a kid in a candy shop once again. It just goes to show, it doesn't take much for me to have a good time.

Making The Move Into The Shop of The Future

Cary from Dollinger Properties handing me the lease to sign for our new facility.

I am proud to announce that we are moving Kettmann Machining, INC to a new, bigger facility.

Our “shop of the future” will provide us with the necessary space required to better serve our clients.

The only thing I’ll miss about our old shop is the relationship we’ve had with our landlord Wally. Wally made a point of wishing us the best in our new facility. We are really looking forward to 2012 and the benefits of working in our new space.

A Time to Give Thanks

Fall is a terrific time of the year. It’s the time of year when the leaves turn color and we experience the first of the fall showers. It’s also the time of Thanksgiving when our families get together to celebrate our many blessings.

I am grateful to be blessed with a fantastic family, friends, great health and a thriving business. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

KMI employees gathered for a sumptuous tri-tip/chicken BBQ in appreciation for a job well done, celebrating this summer's very full production schedule. A great time was had by all. Shop Foreman, Dale Russell, was surprised as he was serenaded by the whole crew and presented a birthday cake. Festivities closed with CEO, Larry Kettmann thanking everyone for their constant dedication and hard work.
